Meet The Team
At Pottstown Home Remodel + Additions, our team is composed of dedicated professionals who
bring diverse skills, experiences, and passions to every project. Get to know the individuals who
make up our team:
Clark Kirkpatrick
General Manager
Clark leads our team with expertise and vision, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. After growing up in the Downingtown area, he graduated from the Virginia Military Institute, then worked as a teacher and an analyst in the financial field.
He started several businesses before hitting his stride in the construction industry, starting by working as a self-employed handyman on what would become Pottstown Home Remodel +Additions over the following years. Outside of work, Clark enjoys spending time with his family and tinkering in his workshop.
John O'Boyle
Adviser
John grew up in Florida before attending Temple University. After graduating, he joined the US Marine Corps and served as a pilot. After leaving the Marines, he rebuilt a business that he started in high school, named J.O.B Design & Construction, that focused on designing and building both residential and commercial construction projects. His company’s work ran the gamut, from new construction projects including the Ursinus College science laboratory to a Harley Davidson dealership in Texas, to custom homes in the mid-Atlantic region, to extensive renovation projects. His company also built several projects in Europe. With Pottstown Construction Company, John serves in an advisory role, as well as managing select projects, drawing from his 45+ years of industry experience.
Ed Kalish
Production Manager
Ed’s diverse interests and adventurous spirit make him a valuable member of our team. His father was a carpenter, and after graduating from Colgate University, Ed went on to work in various construction companies, often in leadership roles. When he’s not on the job, he can be found playing guitar, kayaking, camping, hiking, backpacking, or even trying his hand at axe throwing. Despite not having any pets, Ed finds fulfillment in nurturing his vegetable garden.
Mike
Lead Carpenter
Mike began his carpentry career in 2003 and has since gained extensive experience working with general contractors on remodels, additions, and even custom escape rooms. A Navy veteran, he proudly served for four years and had the opportunity to travel and see the world. Outside of work, Mike enjoys walking his dogs, attending trivia nights, and spending quality time with his family. He also has a creative side – he once helped build musical sets alongside his wife, who directed productions at a local middle school.
Yoli Kirkpatrick
Controller
Yoli is our meticulous and efficient administrative virtuoso, ensuring every detail is flawlessly managed with precision and care. Yoli grew up in northern China, attended college in Shanghai and emigrated to the US after getting married. She works behind the scenes handling bookkeeping, financial reporting and projections, cash management and accounts payable. Outside of work, Yoli is a dedicated wife and mother, and enjoys trying new cuisine, either at home or in a restaurant.
Jinkie Valles
Project Coordinator
Jinkie’s attention to detail and organizational skills make her an invaluable asset as our Project Coordinator. She spent years assisting clients and managing rental homes as a property manager. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, reading, and watching historical documentaries. Jinkie is a devoted mother to her son and shares her home with moggy cats. On weekends, she embraces nature through camping, hiking, river trekking, mountain biking, and traveling.
Nick Donato
Technician
Nick began his career in construction in 2017, shortly after graduating from high school. With experience in both residential and commercial work, he has specialized in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements on the residential side, and has contributed to large-scale commercial projects including hospital builds and the Great Wolf Lodge.
Outside of work, Nick is a passionate sports fan who enjoys staying active and coaching a youth baseball team for players aged 13 and under. He’s also a proud dog dad to Griffin, a rescue pup he adopted in 2019.
Juliane Mulawan
Designer
Juliane’s enthusiasm for space planning and design conceptualization makes her a valuable member of the team as our Designer. With a bachelor’s degree in architecture, she has spent the recent years handling and assisting with various architectural and interior design projects, often focusing on residential and commercial spaces. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking local cuisines, listening to podcasts, watching sitcoms, and spending time with her family in her hometown.
At Pottstown Home Remodel + Additions, our strong team is the foundation of every successful
project. With our dedicated professionals leading the way, you can trust us to bring your vision
to life with excellence and precision
