Weekly Project Reviews

For projects that last more than a couple of weeks of continuous on-site work, we’ll schedule a regular check-in where our team meets with you (both homeowners, if applicable) to review project progress.  These meetings may include: 

  • Lead Carpenter
  • Production Manager
  • Remodeling Consultant
  • Designer

These meetings help keep your remodel on schedule and ensure all updates are accurate and current. This ongoing collaboration allows us to deliver a smooth and well-coordinated experience for every homeowner.

Daily Updates and On-Site Communication

Your Lead Carpenter is your main point of contact on-site. Each day, our crew documents work progress and upcoming plans in our project management system, JobTread, where the folllowing information below are stored.

  • Notes
  • Photos
  • Other important files

You can expect a quick update from your Lead Carpenter, often at the start or end of the workday, to share what has been completed and what is scheduled next. This routine communication helps you stay in the loop without needing to ask for updates.

Walkthroughs and Quality Reviews

We believe in transparency at every stage of construction. That is why we schedule walkthroughs at key milestones in your remodel.

Pre-Drywall Walkthrough:

Before walls are closed, we will walk you through the framing, plumbing, electrical, and insulation. This allows you to see the quality behind the walls and confirm layout details.

Final Punchlist Walkthrough

As your project nears completion, we conduct a detailed walkthrough to review finishes. We may bring a punch list of our own, and this meeting also gives you the opportunity to point out any final touch-ups and confirm the completion schedule.

Communication Channels and Response Times

We make it simple to stay connected. Most communication happens through JobTread, our online platform that keeps all project messages, approvals, selections, and change orders in one organized place.

For quick questions or day-to-day coordination, we also use group text messaging to ensure fast responses among our team members.

Business Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST(Excluding Holidays).

Response Time:

Within 2 to 4 hours during business hours.

After-Hours Communication

Responses are sent the next business day, except in case of an emergency.

If something urgent comes up, such as a safety concern or scheduling issue, your Lead Carpenter or Production Manager can be contacted directly.

Documenting Project Details

Every decision, meeting note, and progress update is stored in JobTread, ensuring that all project details are well-documented and easily accessible. This organized approach prevents miscommunication and helps both our team and homeowners stay fully informed throughout the remodeling process.
